The Jacket I currently wear is the Firstgear Kathmandu Jacket (Grey/DayGlo) I bought from Revzilla.com for $349.95. It works well for the price. Not a Klim. Pretty waterproof over an hour or so but after 2 days of rain you are going to get moist. Not very breathable on hot humid summer days of michigan.  I have a size medium.

These pants are great! (I paid $299.95) First I’ve owned. Not totally waterproof and not very breathable. Pretty hot in the summer. Took this gear through canada for 7,000 miles and my crotch and but got wet. They hold water so they get heavy. But I would rather have this on than the trash bag like cheap rain gear. Knee pads are great and adjustable. I wear forma adv boots and I can not put the pants on while boots are on. I often found myself thinking I put something in my pocket but just put it in the pants and it falls to the ground.
These pants are great protection from falling and water. My rain experience with these is 3 hours of rain dry on the inside 2 days in a row of rain… your but and crotch get wet. From the pooling of water in those regions. I have the size 34 regular. I am 6’1″.
